Henry Bergeron is my dad. This is a website dedicated to his extensive career in the entertainment business in the first half of this century. A half century that led him from a small town in the province of Quebec in Canada, to Hollywood and subsequently touring the continental USA in Vaudeville shows and theatres. Along the way he learned to play the saxophone, learned to figure skate, start a dancing school in a small town in central Ontario as well as myriad varieties of show dancing on the vaudville stage.
This website is my tribute to his memory. When he passed away in 1995 at the age of 92 he left a multitude of photographs, newspaper clippings and mementos in many scrap books. These web pages are comprised largely of this material with other research material found on the web. In some cases no references could be found and just a photograph or name is all that exists. If website visitors have any information on the subject at hand they can submit it in the provided forms found near the item. Thank you.
